only into this hobby for 2 months now.Have had some failures which seem to be turning to success. When feeding these guys it has became aware to me that black or red worms are a no no or if used used sparingly. In the past red worms have been used daily and once to twice a week blackworms.I have found the hook up for live brine.Should this be my only road with these guys?

I have a trio of triple reds courtesy(bought) from ApistoDave and plan on buying at least a trio of Fire Reds Agassizii in a month

Hi all,
I culture Micro worm, Grindal worm (Enchytraeus buchholzi) and Red worm (Lumbricus rubellus). All cultures are very low maintenance, (and the same would apply to White worms, Walter worms etc).

I also keep a Daphnia culture, which is a little more work, and a "Mosquito bucket", from which I also get Bloodworms in the winter (just rain-water and a good handful of leaves in a bucket left somewhere shady).

There are quite a few other possibilities for culturing live food (Red Cherry Shrimps are another possibility), and I'd really recommend Michael Hellweg's book "Culturing Live Food".

cheers Darrel
