hi ,

Anybody here have experience with this fish ?

i have a couple for 6 month now and lost unfortunetly my male :(
god i am so sad.
the problem is here in montreal , i have no chance to find this fish.
and i didn't have any luck to breed them

So i looking for any information on keep and breed this fish.
and also i am looking for some speciment if any of you have.

I´m sorry, I cannot help you with Badis badis, but with Badis scarlet I could. A very nice fish of this family which I breed a lot. But I guess we have a logistic problem. Anyway, good luck to you!

have 2 species of badis-b.badis and b.badis assam. these two species are much different in appearance. i have only succeded in breeding the more common species.they bred once in a desly planted tank and i did not observe them breeding but discovered fry in the tank. i also put them in an outdor pool in the summer and collected about 2 dozen young fish in the fall when i return them into tanks
