anybody try this? the author states that it is possible to grow grindal worms and red wrigglers in the same culture. i am thinking of doing this. i was going to go with white worms, but i'm put off with the temp requirements. grindals will grow better at warmer temps apparently.

I grow both worms. Grindals being my all time favorite.

But I use separate cultures for each worm. Red wigglers benefit from 'turning' the bin from time to time, giving it a good mix up and keeping it aerated. Grindals do not take well to this.

I grow Grindals in coconut fiber. Red wigglers in coco fiber and shredded newspaper.
